Site Information
The MAP Bonds site provides information about Bonds issued by or for political subdivisions. Missouri law requires bond information to be reported within 7 days of issuing or incurring a corresponding bond or obligation . There are multiple opportunities throughout this site to view data related to bonds. Utilizing this site, you may:- Search and view Bonds by the name of the Political Subdivision.
- Search and view Bonds by the face amount of the bond.
- Search, view, print, or download specific data into Excel spreadsheets and/or in text form.
- View data in chart format.
Using the drill down capability of this site, you can start with a political subdivision such as the Board of Fund Commissioners. Selecting Board of Fund Commissioners will provide the next level of information, the date of issuance, name of bond, the description of revenue stream for repayment of bonds, and the face amount of issuance. Some optional fields you may see are the interest rate of the bond, the outstanding balance of the bond, and the description of project/purpose.

Any information that is a closed record pursuant to the Missouri Sunshine Law or other applicable state or federal law or regulation will not be published on this site. Site Availability
This site will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week except during necessary site maintenance. The information published will contain current financial transactions and will be based on the information available at the time.Site Glossary
Below are key terms associated with the MAP Bond site.- Bond - a debt security which represents an obligation for the issuer to pay principal and often interest to a bond holder with a period of repayment longer than one year. Bonds do not include revolving lines of credit, loans that are not securitized, or short term indebtedness having an original maturity less than one year (such as revenue anticipation notes).
- Political Subdivision - any city, town, village, school, road district, drainage district, sewer district, water district, levee district, or any other special purpose district, other than a state agency, created by the constitution or statutes of the state of Missouri with the authority to incur bonded indebtedness.
- Revenue Stream for Repayment of Bonds - the source of revenues that will be used to repay the bonds issued.
- Interest Rate (optional) - the amount charged, expressed as a percentage of principal, by a lender to a borrower for the use of assets.
- Outstanding Balance (optional) - – the amount of principle remaining to be paid by the Political Subdivision.
- Description of Project / Purpose (optional) - description of the purpose or project for which the bond proceeds will be used.

The Bonds by Political Subdivision page displays the total face amount of bonds issued by political subdivisions. To view more specific information about the bonds issued, click on the Political Subdivision name.
To view the information displayed in chart form, click View Chart. The chart may also be printed. Position the cursor over the columns to view the Political Subdivision and amount.
To download the current page contents into an Excel spreadsheet, click the export button. To download data in text form, click the arrow on the drop down box where ‘Data to Excel’ is displayed on the upper right hand side of the page and select ‘Data to Text’, then click Export. After you have clicked export, you will be prompted to choose one of the following: open, save or cancel. You can choose to open or save the data you are attempting to access, or cancel the transaction. If you choose ‘open’, you also have the option to print the data.

The Bonds by Face Amount of Issuance page displays the face amount of particular bonds issued by Political Subdivisions. To view more specific information about the bonds issued by a Political Subdivision, click on the Political Subdivision name.
